Founded in 1972, the Doral Boats has a deep history starting from 1935 when a man named Moise Cadorette started building small water crafts in St.-Jean-des-Piles. He was the first one in Canada to start using fiberglass for hulls. The company moved to Grand-Mere in Quebec in 1989, and joined Canot Cadorette and Thundercraft.
