The 2011 Edition of Texas International Boat Show Is Set to Be a Big Hit

This year’s Texas International Boat Show is taking place in Bayfront. This is a 4 day show starting on the 7th of April. 2011 and will continue till 10th of April. The event is being celebrated at Peoples St T-Head, 600North Shoreline Boulevard.

The show is not only about different models of boats. There are more in store for the visitors other than boats manufactured by the finest boat makers of the world. One of the most sought after events taking place at the Texas International Boat Show is the stunt show. The show witnesses skilled and famous wakeboarders performing thrilling stunts several feet above Corpus Christi Bay. Due to programs like the stunt show, the event marketing director of this year’s event, Marion Daly proudly announced that the Texas International Boat Show is not only about boats.

The event is witnessing over twenty tri-hulled power boats riding across the water area. Each day of the event is playing host to big crowds. The organizers are expecting to attract more than 20,000 boat lovers and boating enthusiasts from different corners of the world to the Texas International Boat Show of 2011.

Daly also said that they feel that this event is a festival taking place in water and a family tour to this event will offer a great experience to every member of a family, young or old. The show area is opened for the public from 11.30 am in the morning. This is the 5th edition of the Texas International Boat Show. The show was first organized in the year 2007. Each edition of the event has a success story of its own. The most notable event taking place at this boat show is the competition between Tri-Hull Powerboats of North America. The event is organized at the South Texas Outboard Racing Tour. A new addition to this year’s show is the Battle of Badges. This new event is basically organized for pitting the emergency responders against each other assuming hypothetical situations.
